Zen-Shin Handsworth
Our main full-time dojo is located in Handsworth on the Soho Hill Road.
We have a fully equipped dojo with 200m² of room to train in our main dojo.
We also have a secondary dojo with 40m² of space.
Both dojo areas are matted with high quality mats. This ensures that when training, less damage is caused on joints due to impact.
We offer Karate, as well as Muay Thai & Kickboxing classes. Our Karate classes are available for students of all ages. We offer kickboxing classes for anyone 10+yrs.
Our dojo has our own private carpark with enough room for 20 cars.
Zen-Shin MERE GREEN
The Karate classes in Mere Green take place at Coppice Primary School on Mondays & Wednesdays.
The dojo is our longest running dojo, taught by Kyoshi John Richards himself.
Free parking is available on site.
Zen-Shin SALTLEY
Our classes in Saltley take place at St Marks Parish Church on Washwwod Heath Road on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This club is run by Sensei Abdul, and offers classes for students from 6yrs+
Zen-Shin hARBORNE
The Karate classes at Harborne take part in a community space located at St Mary’s Church on Vivian Road on Tuesdays and at the Haborne Academy on Thursdays.
This club is run by Sensei Paul, and offers classes for students from 4 to 16 years old.
Free parking is available on site.
Zen-Shin Aldridge
These karate classes are taught by Sensei Jane, with the help of Senpai Suzy.
The classes will be taking part at the Aldridge Social Club on Tuesdays and Saturdays and in St Thomas’ Church Hall on Thursday.
There is on-site parking for students when you drop by.
Zen-Shin coleshill
These karate classes are taught by Sensei Terry and Sensei Sylvia. This is our newest club.
Students ages 5+ years are welcome. All abilities and experience levels are welcome to come down and try a class.
The classes are on Monday and Thursdays at Coleshill Leisure Centre starting from 7th July 2022.
